Some plugins might not even have this option as well.

You will have to set the pitch bend range within the actually plugin itself. The pitch bend knob within the wrapper window will not be accurate. If you were to use 12 or 24 as a range the automation clip would be smaller, what you could also do is just have a range of 12, and then if you want a higher pitch, just use a higher note in the piano rollĪ warning for third party plugins. You can see in the video, it's a bit hard to see the curve of the automation clip because the range is so high.

This is a bit weird to explain over text so I actually made a video to demonstrate this Protip, if you need to move the automation point, you can drag the automation point and hold SHIFT, to lock it vertically while moving so you don't have to keep copying and pasting the value So now that you have your automation clip, if you want to pitch bend up to the write now, all you need to do now, is set the pitch bend number to however many notes you want to pitch up or down to, turn the knob all the way up (You can see in the top left in the hint bar when you do this, it should say +400 cents, +200 cents, etc, as every 100 cents is 1 half step, you never want to go inbetween and have a value of 145 for example, this will sound off key) right click the knob and copy value, then just past the value into the automation clip, then it's perfectly pitched to that value 50 in mind if you want to return to normal pitch (You can modify this of course with the min / max values within the automation clip too, but that's outside the scope of this and a bit more advanced) It's important to know that 50% of the knob is no pitch change at all, since the pitch wheel is bipolar, always have 50% /. A kind of weird trick you can do with pitch automation that's a bit messy but definitely works, set the range of the pitch knob to 48, this will give you 4 octaves to work with, you can reduce it by intervals of 12 (so 12, 24, 48, etc) if you want to reduce the range, but 48 will give you the most flexibility, then right click the pitch knob and create automation clip
