The events in the DLC will be a part of the “Gates Of Oblivion” event that will be running until the end of 2021. “Blackwood” is the next major DLC for “The Elder Scrolls Online” that will introduce new areas, dungeons, equipment and a new Companions system. This also applies to PC players via Steam. Players will also be able to buy the game or the previous “Greymoor” chapter for 60% off. Free players will be able to experience the entirety of the base game as well as the Vvardenfell zone.

It will be released alongside Update 30 that will bring the new “Blackwood” chapter to the game.Īdditionally, “The Elder Scrolls Online” will be free to play until April 13. The “Console Enhanced” edition will be available starting June 8. This also comes with improvements to the overall visual quality of the game including higher draw distances, better textures and improved screen effects like ambient occlusion. One of the first improvements Davies mentioned is that the game can now be experienced in 60 FPS when Performance Mode is activated, which he says is “a first for “ ESO” on consoles.
