Thousands of Venators were built during the Clone Wars and they were present at every single major incident, including the battles of Geonosis, Utapau and Coruscant.
With the capability to handle even three Seperatists cruisers at bay alone, the Venator-class Star Destroyer was able to perform entire operations alone and only large-scale missions were performed in battle groups (even though the Venators mostly remained in groups of three to four ships). The Venator-class star destroyers had a huge impact on the Clone Wars as they were one of the main transporters of the Clone Army. Rothana Heavy Engeneering, a subsidiary of the KDY, was contracted by Kaminoans to produce a large amount of assault starships for the secret Army. Somehow, the troops had to reach the planets they would fight on and the Kuat Drive Yards, divided with the Trade Federation because of Nute Gunray's orchestred assassination of the rest of the Trade Federation's Directorate. The origins of the Venator-class Star Destroyers lay in the beginning of the Clone Wars and the creation of the Grand Army of the Republic.
